FALL 2011

FROM THE APHS MUSIC DIRECTOR:

Members of the music department hit the ground running this year with various activities for the choir, jazz band and marching band.  All summer the marching band has been practicing, culminating in a wonderfully productive band camp August 1-5 preparing our "Stevie Wonder" and "Santana" shows.  We look forward to seeing you at one of our home football games!

The choir is preparing Patriotic literature for our district wide fall concert to be held on October 26 at the APCA, as well as our school wide show honoring our Veterans on November 11, also at the APCA.

The jazz band is preparing for performances in Allen Park and beyond, serving our community and also the many requests we receive for guest performances.

The music department welcomes your participation in the High School Music Boosters.  The boosters meet the second Tuesday of each month at the High School band room at 7p.m., so please, join our organization!
